What are tags in wordpress,How it can be used

Tags  describe what actually your content belongs to ,Tags are very rarely used when we use wordpress posts or website

 Let’s simply understand with example

Suppose if you are writing wordpress blog posts regarding some health blog posts then it is better to add tags and if you add new tag below that you can find option called SLUG it is URL of the tag,When ever you open that particular tag we can see that url,

Description can also be added for tags so whenever we hover on that particular tag we can see the description and can see what that tag actually belongs to

How tags are used

Tags are mainly used for seo purpose and it can make your website to bring in the first pages of search engines with the functionality of tags.

When we write a blog post we can add tags for that post and we can keep separate section of tags to select  particular topic to read for end users so developer use these tags to make  end users to search the posts to read
